Welcome to the Ohio University Equestrian Team website. The OUET was founded in 1985 and is a club sport at Ohio University. This co-ed team is one of the largest and most successful on campus. The team rides at Karen Hiehle's Stonegate Farm in Coolville, Ohio and competes in hunt seat fall through spring quarters as part of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA). The OUET's most shining moment came at the 2002 IHSA national competition where the hunt team was declared 2002 National Champions! OUET's hunt team was also Region One Champions of 2007. Individuals from the team have also competed successfully at the regional, zone, and national levels. In addition to success in the show ring, the OUET has also received awards for community service.
