Women's & Gender Studies provides an opportunity to explore the phenomenon of gender and its intersection with race, ethnicity, class, sexuality, and other elements of diversity.  The program is interdisciplinary, which makes for a rich variety of course offerings across many fields.  Students may choose from over 70 courses with more than 70 affiliated faculty from 17 departments.

The Women's & Gender Studies Program offers a Bachelor of Arts degree and an undergraduate certificate and graduate certificate in addition to a wide variety of individual courses, many of which focus on global feminisms and sexuality studies.

If you would like to speak with an advisor in more detail about individual course work, certificate study, or career options open to Women's & Gender Studies students, please call our office for more information at 740-593-4686, or contact our advisor, Lynette Peck (peck@ohio.edu; 740-593-4687).
