This course is intended to prepare the student to recognize and manage various legal issues in the business environment. Special emphasis will be placed on critical legal issues in business such as constitutional law, criminal law, contracts, business associations and partnerships, torts, employment law, administrative law, intellectual property, corporations and ethics. This course is not intended to train the student to become a lawyer, rather, this course is intended to prepare the student to anticipate and address legal issues that will arise in the due course of business. |
