Dear Author: 

          For three decades THE OHIO REVIEW has played a significant role in the fostering and shaping of American letters.  We believe we have shown, over the years, much of the best that contemporary literature has to offer, and we have endeavored to maintain a site and climate wherein searching thought about the writing of our time could occur. 

          We are of course pleased to have made these contributions to the literary and cultural life of our time.  And we are pleased to have had the ongoing support of you, the writers, in this adventure.  Now, in celebration of this partnership, we are publishing a Thirtieth Anniversary New & Selected, in which a generous selection of the work of those three decades is gathered, along with new work by both repeat and first-time writers.  With this two-volume work (comprising more than a thousand pages) THE OHIO REVIEW will cease publication.
