Research it: Apply to
Provost's Undergraduate Research Fund
This fund provides annual awards to undergraduates enrolled on the Athens
campus who are engaged in original research projects, creative projects,
research apprenticeships or other scholarly work. Awards must be used
for research-related travel, materials or supplies. The deadline for
all applications will be in late September and awards will be announced
in late October. Application forms will be made available in May at
the Honors Tutorial College and at http://www.ohiou.edu/honors

Community and Professional Programs sponsors a quarterly bulletin of
non-credit classes for area community members, students, faculty, and
staff. Classes meet only one to six sessions and are usually held only in
the evenings or on weekends. Prices range from $10-$199 and cover such
diverse topics as rafting, rappelling, horseback riding dulcimer, dance

LINKS are peer mentors for first-year

Student volunteers are the backbone of the Ohio University
Telecommunications Center. The Center operates 6 radio stations, 2
television stations, 2 cable channels plus instructional microwave and
compressed video classrooms covering parts of Ohio, West Virginia and
Kentucky. Positions are available to all students, regardless of major.
Students may be radio talent, news talent, camera operators, and
directors. Professional staff of the Center are available to mentor
