Course
Description

This course introduces productivity software within the framework of business applications. It involves hands-on assignments including Windows operating system, computer components, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation graphics, the Internet, and e-mail.

Prerequisites

C or better in Math 101



Methods of Course Instruction

All course content will be available on Blackboard. This will include the course syllabus and schedule, assignment details, all necessary data files, and review materials. Assignments will be submitted via Blackboard’s Assignment and Digital Dropbox features.

General Course Requirements

  • Weekly assignments and projects using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, e-mail, and the Internet

  • Final project incorporating use of all of the above mentioned tools

  • Two quizzes
