Description

Business and government relations, with emphasis on analysis of selected areas involving public policy and business.

Methods of Course Instruction

The class will meet via BlackBoard and the Internet.  You will be required to retrieve and complete your assigned work from the Internet at your own pace and convenience, given the deadlines that each assignment and project will have.


Course Objectives

  • To understand the role of government regulation in the marketplace.

  • To recognize the basic functions of government in the economy.

  • To identify the costs and benefits of government regulation of the economy.

  • To intelligently discuss the economic impact of government regulation of the marketplace.
