| Admissions If you wish to carry a limited number of courses at the university and are not interested in earning a degree at this time, you may apply as a nondegree undergraduate student applicant. Application is not limited to those who have earned a high school diploma. Attendance at Ohio University as a nondegree student DOES NOT guarantee future admission to the university as a degree-seeking student. Registration
Registration for Transfer-Degree Students, Visiting Students pursuing a degree at another college or university, or nondegree-seeking students:
To register for classes at the Athens or regional campuses, you must complete a short registration form. Download the correct form to your desktop and complete the form. If you have Adobe Acrobat (not just Adobe Reader) 4.0 or higher you can email it back to us as an attachment at summer.sessions@ohiou.edu. If you do not have the complete version of Adobe Acrobat 4.0 or higher you must print the form and send it by snail mail to Office of Summer Sessions, 205 Haning Hall, Athens, OH 45701 or by fax to (740) 593-2901.
Registration Forms:
If a class for which you've registered is closed or canceled, you will be notified by email so that you can make adjustments to your schedule prior to the start of classes. Re-Enrolling Students Enrolled Since Fall Quarter 1985
If you have been enrolled at Ohio University at any time since fall quarter 1985 and plan to continue in your previous status, it is not necessary to complete a re-enrollment or registration form.
Please phone Maggie Thomas in the Registrar's Office at 740-593-4186 to verify your personal data for re-enrollment. You will receive your registration access code and may then register online beginning April 8.
