Have you thought about taking a yoga class, but have no idea where to start
and didn't want be in a class where everyone seemingly knows what to do?
Or have you already tried a yoga class and thought what is the teacher talking
about? Then, this is the class for you. Yoga for ABSOLUTE Beginners offers
an in-depth study of many different limbs of the yoga system. Participants
will understand (1) the various types of breath and how to breath (2) how
to find alignment and comfort in various basic postures (3) how to meditate
and why (4) how to relax into a calmer sense of being; and (5) how to use
yoga and transform your daily life.
No prior yoga experience is needed.
Dates: Sept. 27-Nov. 1, Thursdays
Time: 5:15pm-6:15pm

Nonmember(fac/staff, alumni, their spouses & children under 21)- $70
30 participants must be enrolled to hold this class.
