The Ohio University Aquatic Center is a 50 meter by 25 yard indoor swimming pool. The pool features 2 three meter and 2 one meter diving boards, ranges in depth from 3'6"to 13'2" and holds more than 740,000 gallons of water. Activities include general recreation, Bobcat Swim Club, swim meets, learn to swim lessons, private rentals, birthday parties and home to the athletic Men's and Women's swimming and diving teams. The facility is open to university students, faculty/staff, alumni and community.

The Aquatic Center is dedicated to meet the academic, athletic, and recreational aquatic needs of Ohio University and when feasible the Athens Community. This area supports the divisional mission by "promoting physical, emotional, and social growth of individuals by encouraging the development of lifelong skills and positive attitudes through recreational activities."
