The Department offers an Honors Program for all majors. Each winter quarter, we invite the top juniors majoring in POLS to apply for the program. Those who are selected may participate in an Honors Seminar (POLS 450) in the Spring Quarter with the option of writing an honors thesis during their senior year. Those who complete both the Seminar and the Thesis graduate with the designation "Honors in Political Science".
