Mark L. Weinberg is Professor of Political Science. His faculty appointment is in the Department of Political Science where he teaches courses in public budgeting, financial management and the graduate seminar in public administration. The latter deals with strategic leadership, management and performance measurement in the public and nonprofit sectors. His research parallels his teaching and organizational responsibilities. In addition to his teaching and research activity, Weinberg directs the Voinovich Center for Leadership and Public Affairs and the Institute for Local Government Administration and Rural Development (ILGARD) at Ohio University. He serves as faculty director of the Ohio University Executive Leadership Institute. He works closely with two advisory committees, the Ohio University Public Affairs Advisory Committee and ILGARD Advisory Committee. He serves on the Advisory Board of the National Business Incubation Association, the Board of Directors of the Ohio Tuition Trust Authority and is Chair of the Ohio Rural Universities Program.
