We would like to thank everyone for their interest in The Editors' Prize contest 2008. The abundance of impressive entries made our judging particularly difficult, but a clear winner has now been chosen in each of the three categories. We are therefore pleased to announce that the contest winners are:

POETRY: Kenneth Hart, of Long Valley, New Jersey, for "Uh Oh Time," "Having Not Heard Back from You," and "The Way Things Look."

FICTION: Andrew Brininstool, of Houston, Texas, for "The Way Lighthouses Work."

NONFICTION: Kim Adrian, of Brookline, Massachusetts, for "Eight Photographs."

Congratulations go to the winners. They will each receive $500 and their work will be published in our Fall 2008 issue.

Thanks again for helping make The Editors' Prize contest such a huge success. We very much hope you'll submit to New Ohio Review in the future.
