Study Finds Pawpaw a Tasty Fat Substitute in Baked Goods
Pawpaw Muffins
- Dry ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 Tbs. double-acting baking powder
- 1/2 ts. salt
- Wet ingredients:
- 1 cup 2% milk
- 2 egg whites
- 1 ts. imitation vanilla
- 1 Tbs. vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup pawpaw
Mix dry and wet ingredients separately, then mix together with a wooden
spoon. Lightly coat muffin tins with vegetable oil and pour in batter. Cook
at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
