Are only 110 members admitted?
No. Last season we had 204 members. The number 110 originally referred to the number of members. Now the number 110 represents the amount of effort (110%) expected of each member.
How do I become a member?
First fill out and return the information form.  This will place you on our summer mailing list. During the summer, you will receive a packet of information containing audition music and details regarding training week and the upcoming marching season.
How do I audition?
Auditions take place during training week. On the evening of the third day, music auditions are held. On the evening of the fourth day, marching auditions take place. That evening the membership is posted.
What is the instrumentation?
We use the following: clarinets, alto and tenor saxophones, mellophones, trumpets, trombones, euphoniums, tubas and percussion. The percussion section is comprised of snare drums, timbales, tenor drums, cymbals, and bass drums. We also use a flag corps. Please note that we do not use flutes or a percussion pit.
When is training week?
Training week is traditionally held the week before classes begin for the Fall Quarter.
How can I find out more information on the band?
There will be daily marching band information sessions during Precollege in the summer. You're always welcome to visit the campus as well.
