Please email us at isfs@ohio.edu if you have any questions about arrival in Athens or Orientation. | Dates and Times Fall 2008 Graduate student arrival date: August 28, 2008 International Graduate Orientation: August 29, 2008 New Graduate Orientation: Septmeber 4 , 2008, 10am-4pm Undergraduate student arrival date: September 2, 2008 Undergraduate Orientation: September 3 to September 7, 2008 Classes begin: September 8, 2008 Check-in After you have arrived at Ohio University , you must register at our office in 348 Baker University Center to receive initial instructions. When you check in, you will be greeted by an International Student Advisor who will assist you with any questions or concerns that you may have. You must bring your passport, I-94, and your I-20 or DS-2019 with you to the office. If you have brought family members with you, you must also bring their documents with you when you come to the office. Temporary Housing Temporary housing will be available for new students. Reservations are required. Contact Business & Residence Services by calling 740-566-9001 or emailing sellersd@ohio.edu for more information or to make a reservation. MISSING DOCUMENTS A few students have not yet received the I-20 or DS-2019. That is usually because the Admissions Office needs further documentation from you. Please take care of the missing papers and wait to receive your I-20 or DS-2019 before trying to come to Ohio University. Things to Remember: You may send packages directly to our office for yourself to pick up. Please use the mailing address on our home page. Have travelers’ checks in U.S. dollars for your immediate expenses.
