| Independent
& Distance Learning Projects are an option when the
course is not regularly offered as a correspondence
course, web course, or course credit by examination.
However, some restrictions apply: the course must be offered
in the regular Ohio University undergraduate curriculum;
it cannot have a required laboratory component; the dep
artment
in which the course is offered must approve; and an Ohio
University faculty member must be willing to direct your
work in the course. You and the instructor agree on the
text and other materials to be used and what activities
will be required to satisfy the course requirements. You
may enroll at any time and you are allowed six months
to complete the project. (A complete listing of the
undergraduate courses offered by Ohio University is contained
in the Ohio University Undergraduate Catalog.) |
