TAT 150W - Travel Career Development Part I

Prerequisites: None.
 
Course Overview: The Web course is an introduction to comprehensive and critical information on travel products and destinations, important business issues, and the technical and personal skills needed to begin a career in the travel industry. The emphasis is on the travel product and sales and marketing.
 
Methods of Course Instruction: All material for this course is web-based. Instructor and students communicate and exchange materials through e-mail.

Number of Lessons: The course has ten lessons.
 
Types of Writing Assignments: Each lesson will have a written assignment. The instructor will guide the student through the written assignments with suggestions and tips. All assignments are submitted and returned by e-mail.
 
Examinations: None.
 
Grading Criteria: The final grade for the course will be determined as follows:
