EXAMINATION FORMAT
Note: If you intend to take the examination in Athens, you must take it at the Independent Study office Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. This exam cannot be given on Tuesday evening or Saturday morning, and you must make a specific appointment at least 24 hours in advance of the day you wish to take it. You must use a computer with Windows (3.x or 95), a printer, and either WordPerfect (Windows version) Microsoft Word (or Works). You may not use a typewriter or stand-alone wordprocessor for this examination. It is highly recommended that you have the examination proctored by a keyboarding or office skills instructor. You will be provided with a blank formatted disk with your examination. You will be allowed 20 minutes for Part 1 and 80 minutes for Part 2. All materials will be provided; you are not permitted to use books, notes, or supplementary aids. V.
