TYPES
OF LESSONS
AND WRITING ASSIGNMENTS: The
course has 14 lessons, including supervised midcourse and final
examinations.
Each regular lesson has a submitted assignment consisting of assigned problems from the textbook reading for that lesson. Self-check exercises with answer keys in the textbook. Follow each section of the chapters and allow students to monitor their own progress and prepare for the submitted assignments. |
EXAMINATIONS:
The
course has supervised midcourse and final examinations. Each
exam consists of problems similar to those in the lesson writing
assignments. Students may bring and use a simple calculator,
but no other books, notes, or supplementary aids are permitted.
Two hours is allowed for each exam.
If you reside near an Ohio University campus, you must take your examination at the nearest campus. Others can arrange to have their examinations proctored at another accredited college or university or, if it is more convenient, at an accredited local high school. Ohio University reserves the right to reject a proposed examination supervisor. Detailed information about examination procedures will be included with your enrollment material. Examinations may not be taken online nor by e-mail. |
