The School of Health Sciences is well equipped with facilities and
resource areas. Grover Center is "home" to the School
of Health Sciences and the other five schools within the College
of Health and Human Services.

 |
CLASSROOMS:
Most classes are held in Grover Center, which underwent a
$24.5 million renovation in 2001. Classrooms are equipped with state-of-the-art
technology for use in teaching and student presentations.
|
|
EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING:
To expand the learning experience, students may gain valuable hands-on
experience in labs and on- and off-campus venues.
The EH/IH and Textiles lab (shown below right) offers scientific
lab space for student experimentation and adjoins faculty lab space,
so students may participate in ongoing faculty research projects.

Wellworks,
the University's wellness program, is located in the same building
as classes and labs. It offers opportunities for health students
to work in a health-education setting. The College of Health and
Human Services also administers a hearing, speech, language and
physical therapy clinic within Grover Center. Additionally, students
can gain experience at nearby off-campus sites.
