Fall Quarter 2008-2009 Calendar* Monday, May 19 Fall Quarter priority registration begins--web registration available 7:00 am - 7:00 pm every day except Sunday Monday, August 25 Last day to pay fees for Fall Quarter to avoid the late payment charge. Reminder: Fees must be paid by due date even if you have not received a bill! Students who do not pay their fees by Monday, August 25 will not be cancelled but will be charged a $100 late payment fee. Sunday, September 7 Last day to cancel registration (remove all courses and fees) for Fall Quarter Monday, September 8 Courses begin Monday, September 8 - Monday, September 22 Web registration available for drops and adds, Monday-Friday, 7:00 am - 7:00 pm Monday, September 22 Last day to receive a partial refund of registration fees (80%) for complete withdrawal from the University Last day to apply for the pass/fail grading option through your academic dean's student services office or regional campus Tuesday, September 23 Courses dropped will not remove fees for hours dropped; corrected registration that results in increased hours could increase tuition Courses dropped will remain on student's academic record with WP/WF grade Monday, October 13 Last day to drop a course from your Fall Quarter schedule (WP/WF grade assigned, no fee refund) Friday, October 17 Last day for removing incomplete grades incurred during last enrollment (if not removed, I grade will change to F) Monday, October 27 Winter Quarter priority registration begins Friday, November 14 Last day to withdraw from the University for Fall Quarter Tuesday, November 11 Veterans Day observed (University offices officially closed; classes not in session) Friday, November 15 Last day of courses for Fall Quarter November 17-21 Fall quarter examinations By registering for classes, a student incurs a legal obligation to pay all fees. This obligation will be cancelled if the student officially cancels his/her registration BEFORE September 8, 2008 (the first day of classes) *NOTE: Dates are subject to change at the discretion of the Ohio University Board of Trustees
