Julie has been a full-time employee at Ohio University since 1999. She worked in the Dean's office of the College of Health and Human Services before coming to Environmental Health & Safety where she serves as Training & Communication Coordinator. Julie's current duties include: Coordinating safety training offered by EHS, web page development, organizing communication and educational activities for the department, and special projects.

Prior to working at Ohio University, Julie served as Program Director and Social Services Coordinator at Echoing Meadows Residential Center. She was responsible for training and supervising staff, assuring compliance with Ohio Department of Health regulations, and monitoring facility programming.

Julie holds a Bachelor of Science in Human and Consumer Sciences from Ohio University as well as a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration also from Ohio University.
