Terry Richardson began working with the Environmental Health and Safety Department in January 2006. Serving as Environmental Safety Coordinator, he is responsible for indoor air quality, asbestos, lead, complaint investigation and industrial hygiene programs supporting Ohio University's students, faculty, and staff. Terry attended Western Illinois University, attained Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology and Public Health and has over 30 years of experience in the public health and occupational health and safety disciplines. He has held positions as a public health sanitarian, industrial hygienist, industrial hygiene laboratory supervisor and managed a comprehensive industrial hygiene, safety and workers compensation program. He is a Board Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and a member of the American Board of Industrial Hygiene.
