Community Flight Training Program
Introductory Flight Lesson Only $59.00
You will have the opportunity to sit at the controls of a Piper Warrior and fly over campus on the half an hour introductory flight lesson. Take advantage of this one time offer and see if flying is for you!
*This lesson may be applied toward the completion of the Private Pilot course.

The Ohio University Airport is now offering a non-credit program designed to provide first class flight training to the community. The program is designed specifically for the working professional, so you can learn to fly at your own pace. This program does not require one lump sum payment or Ohio University tuition fees – you pay as you go! The community training program meets the requirements of the FAA under FAR Part 61.

Every two years the FAA requires pilots to complete a flight review with an authorized instructor. Call the flight instructors at the Community Flight Program to schedule your flight review today!
Aircraft Rental
If you already hold a Pilots Certificate and are looking for a place to rent an aircraft, then the Community Flight Program is the place for you. We have an IFR certified aircraft available for rental with a current IFR GPS database! We also have an overnight rental policy. Call 740-597-2672 today to schedule an aircraft.
