- Students wanting to earn an Ohio University degree
- Ohio University allows students to earn four different undergraduate college degrees as an external student (i.e., through correspondence). If you are interested in pursuing your degree through this method, following this link will provide you with more information. Students in the External Student Program range from those starting with no previous college credit to those who have earned credit from Ohio University or other colleges and universities, but have not been able to finish a degree through 'traditional' means. (Please note that students in the degree program will have to use Ohio University correspondence courses to complete their degree, and more information about the courses and requirements will follow.)

- Students only interested in courses
- Many individuals are only interested in taking Ohio University courses, but not in earning a degree through the External Student Program. If you are enrolled in a different distance or external degree granting program and need courses; or if you are only interested in taking a course for personal satisfaction; or if you want to try a course before enrolling in the degree seeking program; or if you are a students enrolled on-campus at one of Ohio University's campuses, you should follow this link for the appropriate information.
