Kennedy Museum to Host Open House January

The
Kennedy Museum of Art will host an open
house at Lin Hall Thursday, January 13
from 2-8 p.m. The open house will give the
public an opportunity to view the upper,
un-renovated levels of Lin Hall, which is
part of the former mental hospital's main
administrative building on Ohio
University's Ridges property.
Guides
will be available to answer questions
regarding the history of Lin Hall and the
Ridges, and to give tours of the exhibits.
The open house is free to the public, and
refreshments will be served.
The
Kennedy
Museum
currently has two exhibits on display
through February 6: "Painters Who Make
Prints," and "Selections from the
Contemporary Print Collection." The new
education gallery featuring Native
American weaving and jewelry is also
open.
Regular
gallery hours are noon to 5 p.m. on
Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; noon to 8
p.m. Thursday; and 1-5 p.m. Saturday and
Sunday. Admission and parking are free to
the public.
