Kennedy Museum to Host Open House January 13

The Kennedy Museum of Art will host an open house at Lin Hall Thursday, January 13 from 2-8 p.m. The open house will give the public an opportunity to view the upper, un-renovated levels of Lin Hall, which is part of the former mental hospital's main administrative building on Ohio University's Ridges property.

Guides will be available to answer questions regarding the history of Lin Hall and the Ridges, and to give tours of the exhibits. The open house is free to the public, and refreshments will be served.

The Kennedy Museum currently has two exhibits on display through February 6: "Painters Who Make Prints," and "Selections from the Contemporary Print Collection." The new education gallery featuring Native American weaving and jewelry is also open.

Regular gallery hours are noon to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday; noon to 8 p.m. Thursday; and 1-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission and parking are free to the public.
