Hi! I am glad to join the staff of the AAC. I am especially glad to be working with the CAP program. As the CAP Coordinator I help manage the grant that supports CAP. Mainly, though, I work with CAP students to make sure you have the services and opportunities you need to be successful. I am excited to be at OU.

I grew up in central Kentucky, but have lived in many states. After earning my B.A in psychology from the University of Kentucky (Go Cats!) I moved to Boone, N.C., to earn my M.A. in Agency Counseling from Appalachian State University. Then my wife, Kjersten, and I moved to Maine where we lived for many years with our three dogs. Most recently, though, we were in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at Louisiana State University where Kjersten taught theatre and I served as a counselor in LSU’s University College. I am pleased to be close to my home turf after so many years away. We are both relieved to escape the heat of the southern summers.

I enjoy motorcycling, long distance backpacking, canoeing, reading, writing, and spending lazy weekend mornings at home. Kjersten and I are feeling at ease in Athens and at OU. We look forward to making this our home for the next many years.
